As we wait for more info on Ryan Malone's injury (and Matt Smaby to a lesser extent), here is some stuff to get you started through the day:

• The Lightning have the day off today. Tomorrow they have an early practice and then are taking a trip to MacDill Air Force Base on Thursday as a team building exercise
• Dana Tyrell and Brett Clark are making appearances today. Tyrell is at the Lokey Volkswagon from 6-7pm and Clark (and Thunderbug!) will be at the McDonald's in New Port Richey from 7-8pm. Full details can be found here if you want to get some autographs
• The Detroit News has a story on Steve Yzerman and his impact on the Lightning. He deflects credit to inheriting a team that had talent because the team struggled for a few years, and says he "...just tried to make some improvements."
• Jaroslav Janus was re-assigned from Norfolk to the ECHL via Bolt Prospects
