Not much to come out of the team today besides the news that Lecavalier's hand surgery was deemed a success. According to the press release issued by the team, "the procedure revealed an unstable fracture in the hand. It was fixated with a plate and screws to properly stabilize the fracture and promote optimal healing." He is expected to miss 4-5 weeks.

In other news

• Marc-Antoine Pouliot was re-assigned to the Norfolk Admirals. In this latest call-up he only played 11:57 in the game against Pittsburgh and ended up a -3. He was a healthy scratch on Sunday
