Tonight the Lightning take on the Kings in the second of their back to back games in an even later start. Sorry for the lack of recap from last night, life got in the way but I'll be all over this one. As I said on Tuesday over at Raw Charge, though it is a late start, it might worth the effort if you manage to stay up for this game.

The Lightning who were the Eastern Conference leaders coming out of October take on the Western Conference leaders tonight. Interesting stat that seven of the last twelve Stanley Cup champions led their conferences heading into November.

AND

Only twice in the past 24 years did a team fail to make the playoffs after leading their conference coming into November.

Yeah. Think about that.

Drew Doughty is expected back in the line-up tonight. It's student night at the Staples Center with UCLA vs USC pride night tonight. Whatever that means.
